04 Jan Build Resilient Partnerships
Finding partnerships that work is a frustrating and long journey. It is like dating. People don’t trust each other and suspect the worst: they will steal from me, take advantage of me, they will not show up. This week’s prompt is about building resilient partnerships. Here are a few benefits:
✅ Friendship and mental support. Being in the same business means you will understand each other’s challenges and pain points.
✅ Business growth. You will have a mirror that will help you see things to improve and how can you do that.
✅ Resilience to failure. When you are sick, down, or simply need a holiday, someone will always have your back.
✅ Increased revenue. Partner with someone who has your missing skills. Together you can provide a better product/service.
✅ Increase your reach. With 2 of you, your business will gain a new audience.
Finally, the challenge! If you have written your goal in the last week’s prompt, try to find someone who will go on that journey with you. You can do that in 5 simple steps. Write down:
1️⃣ Your goal
2️⃣ Your values
3️⃣ Your missing skill to achieve that goal
4️⃣ What you can offer
5️⃣ Public note combining the answers
Remember partnerships mean that it has to be beneficial for both sides. It is like dating and you should like each other, have similar goals, and care for each other. I guarantee you, it will help you grow at double speed. Again, like in dating, don’t try to hurry or get disappointed when the first date doesn’t work out.
